Description:

The primary role of a Lexus Technology Specialist is to educate guests in their vehicle's advanced features to ensure they fully understand and enjoy their automotive technology. They act as the dealership's dedicated tech expert, bridging the gap between complex engineering and everyday usability.

Requirements:

A Lexus Technology Specialist manages technology integration throughout the entire ownership cycle through these key duties:

- New Vehicle Deliveries: Guiding guests through their vehicle's tech features during the final hand-off. They pair smartphones, set up the Lexus app, program garage door openers, and configure safety settings.

- Service Drive Support: Assisting the service department when guests bring in vehicles with technology questions, software glitch complaints, or troubleshooting needs.

- Feature Troubleshooting: Resolving issues related to over-the-air (OTA) software updates, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation routes, and the Lexus Safety System+.

- Staff Education: Training sales consultant and service advisors on newly released vehicle tech, multimedia systems, and electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure.


Skills/Certifications:

Communication: Clear verbal articulation, active listening skills, and a professional empathetic phone demeanor

Tech Savviness: Proficiency with dealership Tekion system, Lexus Dealer Daily system, and multi-line phone systems

Multitasking: Ability to type detailed notes accurately while actively speaking with a customer
