Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the job elements and screen out listed below.
This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1) Operating hydraulic cranes and/or floating cranes to lift and move loads where maneuverability is not a major factor; 2) Estimating the weight of loads; 3) Executing routine lifts and standard maneuvers in accordance with commercially accepted safe rigging practices and in compliance with OSHA requirements; 4) Working with a lifting team using standard hand signals for crane operations; 5) Performing operator inspections of cranes and related equipment; 6) Performing rigging functions, such as selecting and attaching rigging gear and guiding crane lifts.
