Job description

As an Assembler - Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will assemble and inspect products to ensure top quality. Collaborate with a dedicated team to meet production goals and maintain a safe, efficient environment. You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you'll work out of our Arvada, CO location on an On-site work schedule.
 

You will play a vital role in assembling components and products that meet our high-quality standards. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on skills in a manufacturing environment while contributing to the production process.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing operations by ensuring accurate assembly of parts and adherence to safety and quality protocols.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Primary responsibility in Final Pump Assembly, Light Component Assembly, Test Stand Support, Hydrostatic Test Stand Support, Packaging, and Shipping
  • Train in and operate any cell in ANSIMAG
  • Perform production of Ansimag industrial pump components and pump assembly
  • Maintain high personal productivity level - Work independently to meet customer demands and manage work load of department
  • Perform other related duties as assigned as well as training other employees when necessary
  • Comfortable with use of hand tools, power tools, manual or electric pallet jacks, and overhead hoists
  • Perform part inspection and measurement with inspection tools such as calipers
  • Safety oriented
  • Works well with others - small team oriented
  • Have to flex to different areas of production - learn multiple skills
  • Strive to perform tasks outside of daily expectations to improve process efficiency and safety

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Strong mechanical aptitude/machine expertise
  • Basic computer skills
  • Proficient with written and spoken English
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds

  • Ability to read and interpret GD&T, complex engineering drawings, and working knowledge of shop trigonometry
