Job Summary/Description: 

23 WIFR has an immediate full-time opening in its Operations Department for a Technical Media Producer (TMP). This position includes both Newscast Directing and Master Control duties. This position has the general responsibility for directing live or pre-recorded productions as assigned, monitoring 23 WIFR’s on-air signals, transmitter, and FCC logs, and ingesting daily programming and commercials.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Directing live or pre-recorded productions as assigned
- Monitoring WIFR's on-air signal and transmitters
- Ingesting daily programming and commercials along with completion of FCC logs
- You must have solid news judgment and excellent communication skills
- Regular assignments will involve directing specific newscasts, miscellaneous station productions, various elements for the web channel, and designing graphics for newscasts.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Must be available to work flexible weekday hours as well as weekends and at times holidays.
- Must have a valid driver's license as well as a good driving record.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, and other office equipment.
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
