Job description

The Global Electronics Association is seeking an Intern to work in the Washington D.C. office. The intern will support the government relations, communications, industry intelligence, and Evolve teams, all based in the D.C office. This is a hybrid role, where the Intern will work in the office 2-3 days per week and 20-24 hours/week. Hours/days are flexible based on school schedule.
What You'll Do
  • Attend and summarize meetings, briefings, and legislative hearings on behalf of the Association.
  • Track and research policy developments across priority issues and regions.
  • Draft clear, concise memos, reports, talking points, and member-facing communications.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand the global electronics manufacturing ecosystem and translate insights into actionable materials for members.
  • Assist with project coordination, timelines, and cross-team communication to keep deliverables on track.
  • Maintain organized files, calendars, and contact lists; prepare meeting materials and follow-up notes.

What You'll Bring
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • Field of study: Political Science, International Relations, Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Communications, or a closely related discipline.
  • Strong research, analytical, and writing skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and modern AI productivity tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset; comfortable working with subject-matter experts and senior stakeholders.
