Job description

A growing and progressive law firm seeks an enthusiastic Legal Assistant to become the next new player on our estate plan team.

Looking to flex your legal experience while also networking and meeting community members? Then this is the perfect job for you. We're looking for that rare individual who possesses the attention to detail to help draft a trust in the morning. Then represent the firm at a chamber event in the afternoon. Compensation and bonuses will reward the individual who can bring new clients to the firm.

The right fit will be calm, cheerful, and can't wait to say hello to our next new client. If you have experience in a law firm environment and enjoy the opportunity to mingle at work, we want to connect with you.

Compensation:

$28 - $30 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Communicate directly with clients, outside professionals, and office staff

  • Maintain open lines of communication with former clients and referral sources

  • Utilize Microsoft Office, WealthCounsel, Smokeball, and other tools to draft estate plan documents

  • Attend networking and chamber events

  • Prioritize and complete client-driven requests independently

  • Perform occasional ad hoc legal projects as assigned
