Private Lending Services 

The Private Lending Services (PLS) team is a key middle office control function supporting the Private Wealth Management (PWM) Private Lending organization. The Covenants Senior Analyst will be part of the Private Lending Operations team within Asset & Wealth Management, responsible for end-to-end oversight of covenant monitoring and compliance across a portfolio of loans. The loans underwritten cover a diverse range of assets, including commercial real estate, GS, and third-party private equity/hedge funds (including co-invest facilities), aircraft, fine art, hobby properties, private company stock, and marketable securities.

The PLS team ensures client compliance with federal regulations throughout the loan lifecycle, from origination and funding to ongoing maintenance. Additionally, PLS actively contributes to business-related initiatives, such as new product development and system/operational enhancements.

PLS collaborates with underwriters and lenders to deliver customized solutions and exceptional service to clients.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • Acquire and maintain comprehensive expertise in Private Lending's product suite while reviewing credit agreements to ensure all conditions precedent are met for smooth closing. 
  • Coordinate loan onboarding activities by booking complex facilities, collateral, and borrower information into core systems, validating key loan terms against transaction documentation to ensure absolute data integrity. 
  • Monitor transaction pipelines and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks to prevent delays in closing timelines. 
  • Act as the first line of defense by supporting audit and regulatory remediation efforts, maintaining robust documentation, and ensuring adherence to compliance standards. 
  • Drive process improvements and initiatives by collaborating with Front Office, Risk, Legal, and Engineering teams to enhance operational efficiency and system capabilities.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong understanding of lending products and covenant structures. 
  • Analytical skills with attention to detail. 
  • Experience with Excel and data/reporting tools. 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Strong project management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
  • Desire to be part of a dynamic and growing business.
