Job Description:

Addison Group is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our client’s litigation team in Dallas. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support multiple attorneys in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain case calendars, including scheduling depositions, hearings, and deadlines months in advance
  • Review, organize, and categorize incoming legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings
  • Prepare and track case files to ensure accuracy and timeliness throughout the litigation process
  • Provide administrative and litigation support for a team of attorneys, assisting with projects as needed
  • Maintain discretion and accuracy while handling sensitive and confidential information

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Legal Assistant
  • Prior law firm experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; exposure to legal research or case management software is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and multitasking skills
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is highly preferred, but not required
