Job description

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is searching for a Logistics Support Analyst in support of United States Space Force (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC) and Combat Forces Command (CFC) Defensive Cyber Operations. Responsibilities As a Logistics Support Analyst with MTSI you will provide support to the US Space Force, Defensive Cyber Operations-Space (DCO-S), in its mission to provide defensive cyber capabilities to the warfighter.

You will provide logistical support to integrate defensive cyber systems into legacy and new space systems, gain support for new and on-going efforts in all phases of the acquisition life cycle and develop and utilize engineering technical services to obtain systems engineering support and processes within DCO-S. Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to: Contribute to, or assist in creating as required, relevant Logistics planning, activities, and process improvements associated with deployment and sustainment of operational capabilities. Examples include; maintaining a Logistics Product Schedule, issuing and receiving parts from inventory, managing overall inventory within inventory systems, warehouse flow/process efficiencies, working among cross functional teams.

Qualifications Required/experience: Minimum 5+ years relevant experience performing Logistics activities in the Government (military and/or government civilian) warehouse. Background in logistics planning, materiel management, or supply chain operations for defense or national security space systems. Demonstrated involvement in logistics tasks within DoD or government space system development, integration, testing, deployment, or sustainment environment.

Familiarity and knowledge of packaging, handling, storage, & transportation (PHS&T) and other Logistics-related Product Support Elements Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and to maintain productivity under tight timelines. Education Requirements: Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university relevant to their area of expertise limited to the following: Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Logistics Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration (with a concentration in supply chain, logistics, or operations), or a closely related field. In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of relevant logistics experience in a DoD, military, or government warehouse / supply chain environment will be considered for a total of 13+ yrs of experience.

Clearance: Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. A Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI eligibility) is HIGHLY desired. Desired Skills/Experience Systems: Proficient in Jira, Confluence, Deltek, Oracle, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Visio, with strong experience leveraging these platforms to support operations, reporting, and crossfunctional collaboration.

Extensive background in fulfillment, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and warehouse operations. Skilled in cycle counting, process optimization, and developing key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve accuracy, efficiency, and overall operational performance. Familiarity with DODI5000.64 Location/Travel Requirements: Place of work is onsite in Colorado Springs, You may be required to travel periodically, less than 10%

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $85,000/year to $115,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. MTSI also offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
