Job description

Ready to join Team Timberland? Legacy Village is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our 212-unit property in Springfield, TN. This community is conveniently located off Highway 41, close to Legacy Golf Course. You’ll play a key role in providing an outstanding living experience for our residents by taking ownership of general upkeep, unit turns, and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities:
(include, but are not limited to)

  • Deliver timely, high-quality results for resident work requests and day-to-day community maintenance needs.
  • Take pride in curb appeal by keeping grounds, amenities, and common areas above quality standards, ensuring a welcoming environment residents are proud to call home.
  • Identify and resolve potential safety or upkeep issues, serving as a trusted set of eyes and ears to protect the property and its residents.
  • Execute seamless make-readies, repairs, and final checks so new residents walk into a flawless home on day one.
  • Provide reliable emergency support on a rotating on-call schedule, ensuring peace of mind for residents when urgent issues arise.
  • Champion a culture of safety by following all industry procedures, protecting yourself, your teammates, and the community.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of general maintenance experience, residential maintenance experience preferred
  • EPA universal license for HVAC required (must be willing to obtain EPA within 90 days if not already certified)
  • CPO license preferred
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electrical systems, all major appliances including washer and dryer
  • Experience with turnover “make-ready” of apartments
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic computer proficiency preferred

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM and rotating on-call schedule (additional stipend compensation provided for on-call shifts).

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range: $25.00 - $27.00/hr + quarterly bonuses based on property performance and exceptional customer service.
