This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Northeast Regional Infrastructure Sales Manager based near New York City with Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.

  • Develop short and long-term plan to grow outdoor infrastructure lighting and controls sales with state departments of transportation.

  • Grow and maintain Cooper's market share with investor-owned utilities, cooperatives and municipal electric utilities.

  • Maintain an active presence with key specifying influences; present product and solutions to DOT and municipal consulting engineering firms, lighting and landscape design firms and others.

  • Support long and short-term project and design opportunities and Interface, as needed, with Cooper's regional specification managers.

  • Maintain top notch agency representation in the region; providing product and solutions training; supporting sales calls, territory events, etc. Provide regular / periodic feedback to agents on performance. Develop corrective action plans for deficient agents, and recommend upgrades and replacement, when required.

  • Support post sales group with warranty and minor field repair issues.

More about you

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Marketing, Liberal Arts, or Engineering

  • Understand and demonstrate the ability to use CRM and MS Office applications such as excel and PowerPoint to develop presentations and sales tools to assist in selling LED products.

  • 4+ years sales-related experience in the lighting products industry with exposure to LED product lines/technology (DOT, municipal, outdoor infrastructure lighting desirable).

*Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.

Salary:$120,000 - $176,000

Bonus:Target Sales Incentive- 35%
