Job description

Description
Develops, conducts, and coordinates the School of Nursing's institutional research supporting organizational effectiveness, enrollment management, grant support, planning and facilitating survey and accreditation activities including onsite visits.
Communicates with and reports directly to the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and provides oversight to the Accreditation Coordinator.
Oversees institutional research across programs and supports quality improvement by working with decision makers including nursing faculty and staff leadership within the School of Nursing and the broader University community to enhance the understanding, collection, and use of data in decision-making.
The annual starting base salary range for this position is from $55,000-70,000. CWRU considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. University employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes excellent healthcare, retirement plans, tuition assistance, and paid time off. Relocation reimbursement is not available for this position.
Qualifications
Master's degree required, doctoral degree preferred, from an accredited college or university with coursework that includes knowledge of research methods, statistics, and databases.
Three (3) years' experience providing leadership to an institutional research unit in an academic or clinical institution.
Supervisory skills and experience and effective supervisory skills to include coaching and mentoring to support employees in achieving the school's mission and their individual professional goals.
Experience with technological tools utilized in institutional research, i.e., integrated databases, data mining software, statistical packages, presentation software, etc.
Experience conducting research and communicating results for educational initiatives, planning, enrollment management, grants support, or institutional effectiveness
Experience managing projects and teams in a complex environment.
Experience with regional and national accreditation criteria, processes, and reporting.
