We have partnered with a large engineering services company in the Metro DC area to provide them with a Senior Electrical Engineer. Please review the description below and let us know if you are interested.
Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Senior Electrical Engineer:
#1. BS in Electrical Engineering
#2. Active Electrical PE
#3. 10-15 years consulting engineering experience
#4. Power systems design for commercial, industrial, healthcare, higher education, or federal facilities
#5. SKM, ETAP, or similar electrical modeling software
Responsibilities of the Senior Electrical Engineer:
Applicants must be well versed in all aspects of electrical systems design and specification. The desired individual should be comfortable consulting to architects, owners, and general contractors, and have a desire to work as part of a multidiscipline engineering team.
Requirements of the Senior Electrical Engineer:
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S) in Electrical engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering (required)
  • 10 to 15 years of experience.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Project Management experience and/or certifications.
  • Desire to lead inter-disciplinary projects and project teams.
  • Local AHJ experience and relationships is a plus.
  • Active local industry involvement is a plus.

Other Key Requirements:
  • Must be able to work in the office four (4) days a week
  • Willingness to travel for occasional site visits
  • No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
