Job description

Liberty Tree & Landscape Management is a premier provider of comprehensive arboricultural services, dedicated to excellence in environmental stewardship and client satisfaction. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Tree Climber to join our elite field operations team. We pride ourselves on a culture of professional development, precision, and industry-leading safety standards.

The Role

As a core member of our production team, you will execute technical removals and precision pruning across a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties. This role requires an individual who can integrate advanced climbing and rigging techniques with a deep understanding of tree biology to deliver superior results safely and efficiently.

Key Qualifications

  • Professional Experience: 2–4 years of documented tree climbing experience within a professional arboricultural environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Mastery of industry-standard power equipment, including chainsaws, woodchippers, and specialized rigging systems.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrated competency in structural support systems, specifically cabling and bracing applications.
  • Compliance & Safety: Must possess a valid driver’s license and a High School Diploma or GED. A steadfast commitment to OSHA and ANSI Z133 safety standards is required.
  • Physical Requirements: High level of physical aptitude and the ability to perform rigorous labor at height in various weather conditions.
  • Preferred Attributes: Prior experience in landscape architecture, plant pathology, or hardscape construction is highly desirable.
