Algebra lab teacher will work extensively with students to help them improve specific math skills and strategies that will close gaps and contribute to their academic growth. The lab teacher will also address the specific needs of the student as it aligns to TIER one instruction. The lab teacher will work with the teacher of record and the campus TDSI to design methods of learning that are most appropriate for the student
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
  • Valid Texas teaching certificate in the area(s) and grade level(s) of assignment
  • Math certification required
Special Knowledge/Skills:
  • Knowledge of MTSS process and Tiered Instruction
Experience:
  • Three or more years successful teaching experience
Minimum Teacher Salary
$61,810 (2024/2025 Compensation Plan)
  • Salary determination will be based on verified relevant work experience.
  • Salary will be adjusted to the start date.
