This is an exciting job opportunity for you as an R&D Project Manager in Peachtree City or Atlanta, GA, with Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.

  • Guide the development and implementation of lighting fixtures and connected lighting projects (mechanical, electrical, software, testing, regulatory) that enable the world of IoT.

  • Work with a cross functional team to manage projects from concept to commercial implementation.

  • Coordinate closely with project stakeholders and cross-functional teams to document project scope and objectives and with core teams to maintain a project plan aligned with the stage gate product development process.

  • Integrate business, marketing and technology elements to create a cohesive project vision and team charter.

  • Manage project and product definition activities related to marketing and/or technical requirements.

More about you

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline

  • 3+ years of experience in project or engineering management with knowledge of new mechanical/electrical product development and market introductions

  • Proficient with project management tools (i.e., MS Project)

  • Proven track record of managing new product development through a stage gate process is highly preferred

  • Influential leader with excellent communication, organizational and people skills and successful working across functional groups

*Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.

Salary:$101,580 - 148,973 based on experience

Bonus:target bonus opportunity - 10%
