Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Management Program Lead to build and deliver a new scalable global manager development programs critical to Waters' continued growth and transformation.  This role plays a pivotal part in advancing manager effectiveness, driving strategic learning initiatives, and ensuring consistent, high-quality leadership development experiences worldwide.

You will partner closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders to assess enterprise and business specific needs, design modern learning solutions and bring innovative and well-designed programs and learning experiences to life. This role blends instructional design expertise, creative problem-solving, and technology enabled approaches to bring our talent strategies to life in ways that are practical, scalable and help redefine how managers at Waters lead, grow talent and drive performance.

Responsibilities

Manager Development (Primary Focus)

  • Design, deliver, and continuously improve a new global manager capability program and portfolio supporting new and experienced leaders.
  • Develop end-to-end learning solutions-from needs assessment and design to pilots, rollout, and evaluation.
  • Build toolkits, guides, and learning experiences that strengthen core manager skills, including leading change, career development, coaching, and feedback.
  • Facilitate impactful live and virtual development sessions with strong presence and engagement.
  • Ensure alignment with Waters' manager expectations, performance practices, and 3C leadership principles.

Learning Strategy & Instructional Design

  • Apply modern instructional design methodologies to create scalable learning experiences.
  • Incorporate new and emerging technologies, including AI enabled learning and coaching tools, virtual learning tools, and interactive modalities into program design to enhance personalization and impact.
  • Build structured program models that scale globally while accommodating regional needs.
  • Ensure learning experiences reflect Waters' culture, business context, and ways of working.

Strategic Talent Partnering

  • Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to diagnose capability needs and recommend targeted development solutions.
  • Serve as a thought partner on manager capability, skills development, and enterprise learning needs.
  • Provide consultative support to drive consistency and prevent fragmentation across regions and functions.
  • Collaborate with DEI, Talent Analytics, HRIS, and Talent Acquisition on cross-functional talent initiatives.

Enterprise Learning Campaigns

  • Lead global learning campaigns that support manager capability, performance enablement, and career development.
  • Build communication plans, enablement guides, and learning pathways that drive adoption and behavior change.
  • Reinforce clarity and consistency across enterprise talent processes.

Vendor Management

  • Evaluate, select, and manage external vendors, content providers, and facilitators.
  • Ensure programs reflect Waters' context and integrate with internal frameworks.
  • Oversee scoping, contracting, content customization, pilot readiness, and program execution quality.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Define program success metrics and evaluate learning outcomes.
  • Analyze data, feedback, and performance insights to inform enhancements.
  • Track program adoption and effectiveness and inform future capability-building priorities.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years in learning & development, leadership development, organizational development, or talent management.
  • Strong instructional design capability with experience building scalable programs.
  • Experience designing and facilitating manager development programs.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to drive clarity and execute with discipline.
  • Experience with HR technology, including HRIS, LMS (e.g., SuccessFactors, Skillsoft), and people analytics tools.
  • Proven ability to consult with HRBPs and leaders to assess needs and design solutions.
  • Experience with technology-enabled learning and modern digital modalities.
  • Vendor evaluation and management experience.
  • Experience in a global or matrixed organization preferred.
