Job description

Internally titled AI Enablement Lead, Strategic Initiatives

At WelbeHealth, we serve our communities' most vulnerable seniors through shared intention, pioneering spirit, and the courage to love. These core values and our participant-focus lead the way no matter what.

The AI Enablement Lead, Strategic Initiatives helps build and scale WelbeHealth's distributed AI program by building high-impact AI agents for the organization and enabling a network of trained "super users" to develop their own solutions. This role balances hands-on AI development with mentorship and guidance, helping internal teams design, test, and improve AI agents that enhance workflows and operations. By combining direct development work with support for peer-driven innovation, the AI Enablement Lead, Strategic Initiatives helps scale AI capabilities while ensuring solutions deliver meaningful operational value.

This role is different because the AI Enablement Lead, Strategic Initiatives at WelbeHealth:

  • Builds and scales AI capabilities across the organization by designing high-impact AI agents that solve real business problems while helping a network of super users develop and implement their own AI solutions
  • Combines hands-on AI development with coaching and strategic partnership, working across functions to identify opportunities, improve workflows, guide responsible AI adoption, and help teams turn ideas into practical solutions that create meaningful operational impact

We care about our team members. That's why we offer:

  • Medical insurance coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision)
  • Work/life balance - We mean it! 17 days of personal time off (PTO), 12 holidays observed annually, and 6 sick days
  • 401K savings + match
  • Comprehensive compensation package including base pay and bonus
  • And additional benefits!

On the day-to-day, you will:

  • Design, build, test, and maintain high-impact AI agents that improve workflows
  • Support the super user network through design consultations, 1:1 coaching, and build reviews, helping super users design better agents, test more rigorously, and avoid common pitfalls
  • Partner with Strategic Initiatives leadership and adjacent teams (Tech, Compliance, IDT-adjacent functions) to ensure agents are well-governed, safe, and aligned with how WelbeHealth actually works
  • Contribute to the broader AI program - surface patterns from builds and super user work, propose improvements to our practices, and help shape how AI scales
  • Foster cross-functional partnerships across all organizational levels, including executives, working collaboratively to achieve shared goals

Job requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field; relevant professional experience may be substituted
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in operations, analytics, product, strategy, or related field (formal AI/technical background not required)
  • Significant experience building and deploying AI agents or past technology tools
  • Strong workflow analysis
  • Uses an iterative approach, favoring rapid experimentation, learning from outcomes, and adjusting, rather than pursuing extended upfront design
  • Apply strong critical thinking when reviewing AI-generated outputs, carefully evaluating accuracy and identifying misleading or incorrect content
  • Possesses the ability to guide and support others in learning, focusing on enabling colleagues to develop their own solutions rather than solving their problems
  • Comfortable operating in a developing program environment, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and contribute effectively within a small, evolving team
  • Curiosity about the people WelbeHealth serves and the operational realities of PACE; past healthcare experience helpful but not required

We are seeking an AI Enablement Lead, Strategic Initiatives who is curious, analytical, collaborative, and passionate about using AI to solve real-world business challenges. The ideal candidate combines hands-on experience with AI agents or emerging technology with strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. If you enjoy building innovative solutions, coaching others, improving workflows, and helping organizations unlock the potential of AI, we'd love to hear from you!

Compensation consists of base salary plus bonus. WelbeHealth offers a competitive total rewards package that includes a 401(k) match, comprehensive healthcare coverage, and a broad range of additional benefits. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and relevant qualifications.

Compensation Offering
$120,164.59—$158,617.26 USD
