Job description

Location: Danvers, MA
Schedule: Part time (8:30-4:00) or per diem, Monday through Friday
Target Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 hourly
Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to, the individual's experience, education, and internal equity.

Job Summary
Northeast Arc's The Learning Center (TLC) program is a private integrated preschool program that offers ABA services in a naturalistic teaching environment. TLC offers services to children aged 15 months to 6 years old. The Early Learning Paraprofessionals role is to help teach essential pre-academic, social, play and emotional regulation skills to children with an Autism diagnosis. Behavior Technicians work under the supervision of BCBAs to provide 1:1 support for children in a classroom setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinic-based support to individuals using evidence-based ABA approach
  • Work directly with individuals and their families in the natural environment to improve socially significant behaviors across all areas, including communication, daily living skills, social skills, and adaptive behavior
  • Teach goals and skills outlined in the treatment plans and implement behavior strategies developed by the BCBA (clinical supervisor)
  • Attend and contribute to clinical and non-clinical meetings, trainings, and individual supervisions
  • Complete required session notes and data and any additional non-clinical paperwork
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of clients

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in psychology, early childhood education, or a related field preferred
    • High school diploma required
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, along with excellent organizational skills and flexibility
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, able to maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required
  • Ability to walk, stand, and climb stairs in an office and classroom settings
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs
  • Must successfully complete and pass all required background checks as a condition of employment
