Job description

El Camino Health Medical Network is currently seeking a talented Practice Supervisor to join our growing team!!
Salary:$58,461- $90,000 annualized
Location: San Jose, CA
Schedule: Monday-Friday
The Practice Supervisor is responsible for managing support staff, and works closely with the practice manager, physicians/providers to ensure efficient practice operations for consistent, excellent patient experience.
The Practice Supervisor may also be assigned to one or two areas of a practice such as front office and/or back office. The incumbent coordinates leads and directs the day-to-day workflows and activities of individuals or a group of individuals.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • AA degree preferred
  • 2 years of medical front and/or back office experience in an outpatient/acute care organization including 1 year in a lead capacity
  • At least 2 years of medical training experience
  • Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse
  • Experience working with an EMR (i.e., All Scripts and Epic)
  • Ability to accurately type a minimum of 40 WPM
  • Strong verbal and written communications, and active listening skills
  • Solid patient/guest relations skills with the ability to communicate in a professional, courteous and efficient manner
  • Ability to perform basic math demonstrating accuracy
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize task in order to complete assignments within the time allotted to maintain standard workflow
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member who is flexible, cooperative and willing to assist others
  • Knowledge and practice of continuous process improvement, Lean management principles and methodologies preferred
