About The Company:

Addison Group is partnering with our client, a global manufacturing organization, to identify a Learning & Development Program Specialist. This role is ideal for a learning professional with extensive experience managing enterprise learning initiatives, coordinating leadership development programs, driving learner engagement, and improving training operations through analytics and process optimization.

This position is a true individual contributor role focused on learning program management, execution, readiness, and continuous improvement. Candidates whose backgrounds are primarily instructional design, content creation, or people management may not be the best fit.


Job Description:

The Learning & Development Program Specialist will oversee the planning, coordination, execution, and optimization of employee development initiatives across the organization. This individual will collaborate with HR, business leaders, vendors, and subject matter experts to ensure learning programs are delivered effectively, support organizational objectives, and provide measurable business impact.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate enterprise leadership development programs, including scheduling, participant communications, vendor management, logistics, and program execution.
  • Manage learning project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful program delivery.
  • Support ongoing leadership development initiatives through learner follow-up activities, coaching resources, and engagement strategies.
  • Administer annual compliance training programs and maintain accurate completion tracking and reporting.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to support onboarding programs and employee development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to improve learning processes, program effectiveness, and participant experience.
  • Facilitate or coordinate virtual and in-person training events, workshops, and development programs.
  • Promote learning opportunities and drive participation across a global employee population.
  • Monitor learning metrics, participation data, completion rates, and learner feedback to identify trends and recommend enhancements.
  • Develop recommendations for process improvements, learning effectiveness, and program scalability.
  • Support learning technology initiatives and maintain training records within learning systems.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 5+ years of Learning & Development experience.
  • 2+ years of experience owning and managing enterprise learning programs.
  • Proven experience coordinating learning initiatives from planning through execution and evaluation.
  • Strong project management skills, including timeline management, stakeholder coordination, communications, and vendor oversight.
  • Experience driving learning program readiness, implementation, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities with the ability to leverage data to improve program outcomes.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a highly collaborative environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting global learning and development programs.
  • Background within manufacturing or a product-based organization.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve learning effectiveness and learner engagement.
  • Knowledge of learning management systems and virtual learning platforms.
