CompanyFederal Reserve Bank of MinneapolisThe Senior Leadership Development Consultant at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis is a strategic role that partners with leaders to design and deliver transformative leadership solutions that support 9th District officers, people leaders and individual contributors. In this role, you'll leverage advanced consulting, facilitation, and strategic thinking skills to build leadership capabilities, promoting organizational performance and cultivating a high-impact leadership culture.
You'll also lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive leadership development programs for employees, leaders and high-potential talent.

Key responsibilities include:


Program Design & Content Development:

  • Design and deliver engaging learning content including e-learning modules, micro-learnings, and job aids for new employee onboarding, compliance training, leadership development initiatives, and programs for all employee levels
  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for e-learning development, management, and updates across platforms including 9Online, SharePoint migration, and Galaxy

Strategic Partnership & Program Leadership:

  • Lead the design and implementation of leadership development programming by collaborating with key stakeholders to manage a portfolio of L&OD programs from design through delivery, and administer leadership tools including Clifton Strengths, Insights Discovery and other assessments.
  • Partner with business divisions, Learning Management Support Office (LMSO), and Management Committee to deliver tailored solutions, support Performance Management processes, and coordinate local efforts for Strategic Leadership Initiative (SLI) programming.

Organizational Impact & Communication:

  • Develop and execute communication strategies to promote L&OD programs, training, and services across the Bank
  • Monitor and report on learning data, program metrics, and completion rates to measure effectiveness and inform continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Adult Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Learning and Development, or related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Minimum of six years of progressive experience designing, developing, and delivering leadership and professional development programs (8+ years for the Principal)
  • Strong knowledge of best practices in leadership development, talent management, and organizational development
  • Experience with e-learning authoring tools (Adobe Captivate, Articulate)
  • Proficiency with applications such as SharePoint, Jira, and Cornerstone, Galaxy LMS
  • Excellent time and project management skills with ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to navigate complexity and establish priorities in ambiguous environments
  • Strong consultative, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate complex issues clearly and effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Learning & Talent Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPLP, SHRM-SCP, ATD Master Trainer)
  • Coaching certification (e.g., ICF, CCE, or similar) with demonstrated coaching experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, Agile)
  • Experience facilitating executive-level leadership programs
  • Project management certification (PMP, Agile, Six Sigma)
  • Experience with data analytics and measuring learning ROI

Additional Information:

*The full salary range is $81,200-101,400-121,700 for the Senior Consultant level and For Principal Level $100,000 - $125,050 - $150,100. The expected starting salary range is 101,400 - $125,050 . Salary offer will be based on qualifications/experience of the candidate, alignment with market data, the needs of the position, our total compensation package, and internal equity.
