Join the winning team! Our RoadDog store in Rockford, OH is looking for a new Shift Lead that would be responsible for assisting the Store Manager. This includes responsibility for store appearance internally and externally and operating the store to reflect the company's standards of ensuring high levels of customer service by all store associates. This position would be primarily 2nd shift and require weekend availability. 


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead store associates in accordance with company policy and procedures, to maximize store profits
  • Lead in the training, motivating, and mentoring of Store Associates
  • Lead in building an atmosphere that demonstrates pride in teamwork and in serving the customer
  • Responsible for safeguarding the store, cash, and inventory control
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the facility
  • Assist with required paperwork accurately and timely as per company standards
  • Assist with all other store tasks and activities assigned by the Store Manager or Assistant Manager in a prompt, cooperative, and enthusiastic manner

Requirements

  • Preferred minimum of 2 years in a convenience store or retail industry
  • Preferred minimum of 1 year of management experience
  • Strong work ethic and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing work environments
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, this includes evenings and weekend shifts
  • Ability to operate computer programs to complete associate and management tasks
