Job Summary

We are currently hiring a Lead Security Officer in Fort Valley. Come join a diverse and inclusive team that believes in providing excellent customer service and recognizes that its greatest asset is its employees.

As a Lead Security Officer, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients, their employees, and the public while assisting with daily site operations and officer oversight. This role requires professionalism, leadership, attentiveness, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Pay Rate: $18.04

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and guidance to on-site Security Officers during assigned shifts
  • Assist with shift coverage, scheduling support, and daily operational needs
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols
  • Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity
  • Ensure officers are following post orders, client expectations, and DSI policies
  • Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public
  • Complete required reports and documentation accurately and timely
  • Communicate operational concerns and incidents to management promptly
  • Participate in training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals

Qualifications amp; Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous security experience required
  • Prior lead, supervisory, military, law enforcement, or management experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Reliable transportation and means of communication
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to conduct routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions
  • Must meet all preemployment requirements
