Job description

Security System Installation Technician

Charleston, SC | Full-Time

Already Working in Electrical, Telecom, or Low Voltage?

Take your skills to the next level by learning one of the most specialized and in-demand segments of the industry: security & fire alarm systems.

We're looking for a technician with experience in construction, electrical work, low voltage, telecommunications, maintenance, or cabling who wants to expand their technical expertise and build a long-term career.

Previous alarm experience is not required. We'll provide training and mentorship to help you develop specialized skills that can accelerate your career growth.

What You'll Do
  • Install and service fire alarm and low-voltage systems
  • Pull, terminate, and test cabling
  • Replace devices and assist with system upgrades
  • Troubleshoot equipment and identify solutions in the field
  • Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project drawings
  • Support commercial and school renovation projects
  • Maintain quality workmanship and safety standards
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in electrical, telecom, low voltage, maintenance, or construction
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools
  • Ability to work independently and stay productive
  • Valid driver's license
  • Professional attitude and dependable work ethic

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Myrtle Beach, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $33.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
