Quality Inspector - In Process
Saab, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team! This role is responsible for performing quality inspections during the production process. You will work closely with the Quality and Manufacturing teams to maintain a high level of quality for our customers.Responsibilities Include:
- Perform in-process quality inspections on product as it is being produced.
- Promptly identify, document and communicate quality concerns to appropriate personnel to minimize impact on production processes and maintain high levels of quality.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, and other inspection tools.
- Collect and maintain related quality records.
- Use of a computer-based ERP system for data entry.
- Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials.
- Assist in first article and sampling inspections, as requested.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities, as requested.
- Assist with audits and quality system documentation, as needed.
Compensation:Starting hourly rate of $27.00, commensurate with experience
