Summary

MVA Industrial Supply is seeking a dependable and experienced Lead Shipping Associate to support and coordinate daily shipping and receiving operations at our Wheat Ridge facility. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in ensuring shipments are accurate, efficient, and delivered on time.

The Lead Shipping Associate will serve as a key resource within the warehouse, supporting team members, coordinating shipping activities, maintaining carrier relationships, and helping drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Utilize shipping software including QuickShip and UPS Ship Manager to process shipments, generate labels, and track deliveries
• Verify outbound shipments against packing lists, purchase orders, and shipping documentation to ensure accuracy
• Receive inbound shipments, inspect materials for damage or discrepancies, and update inventory records accordingly
• Serve as a point of contact for shipping-related inquiries involving carriers, vendors, and internal departments
• Communicate shipment status updates, delays, and special handling requirements as needed
• Support, train, and mentor warehouse associates on shipping procedures, systems, and best practices
• Monitor shipping supply inventory and coordinate replenishment as necessary
• Research and resolve shipping errors, discrepancies, and transportation issues
• Generate shipping and operational reports for management review
• Support process improvement initiatives to increase shipping accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
• Assist with additional warehouse and logistics duties as assigned

• Experience verifying shipments against packing lists and purchase orders required
• Experience maintaining shipping documentation and operational records required
• Prior lead or supervisory experience within a warehouse or shipping environment preferred
• Experience training or mentoring warehouse associates preferred
• Experience working within a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment preferred

Compensation & Bonus

The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $22.00-$25.00 per hour.

Within the base pay range, individual compensation is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Work Schedule
