Warehouse Lead supports 2nd shift operations at our Lebanon facility by managing inbound and outbound materials and assisting with production and shipping/receiving activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient material flow throughout the facility and contributes to meeting production targets and customer fulfillment needs.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Warehouse Lead plays a critical role in supporting daily warehouse operations at our Lebanon facility. This position is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager with the planning and execution of all warehouse activities, including overseeing Material Handlers to ensure timely and accurate completion of inbound and outbound orders as well as production support needs. The Warehouse Lead will collaborate closely with Quality Assurance, Production, Sanitation, and Human Resources teams to ensure compliance with all safety, FDA, and SQF regulations. Additionally, this position serves as the backup for the Warehouse Manager, providing leadership coverage as needed to maintain operational continuity.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Ensure full compliance with all company safety policies and procedures, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.

· Uphold all Quality Management System (QMS) standards and procedures, ensuring adherence to facility food safety, regulatory, and customer quality requirements.

· Supervise and provide daily direction to Warehouse Material Handlers, ensuring efficient workflow, productivity, and task completion.

· Coordinate the timely delivery of raw materials to production areas and oversee the accurate put-away of finished goods into warehouse inventory.

· Manage and process all activities related to customer sales orders, including picking, staging, and shipping of finished goods in a timely and accurate manner.

· Maintain strict adherence to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory practices for both finished goods and raw materials to ensure product quality and shelf-life rotation.

· Promptly identify and report any inventory discrepancies to management for timely investigation and resolution.

· Demonstrate strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy across all warehouse transactions and documentation.

· Ensure all forklifts and material handling equipment are properly maintained, including placing all units on battery chargers at the end of each shift.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready warehouse environment at all times to support operational efficiency and compliance readiness.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven leadership and supervisory abilities, with experience in overseeing and directing the daily activities of warehouse material handlers to ensure operational efficiency.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide clear instructions to warehouse staff.

• Proficiency in operating material handling equipment, including sit-down forklifts and stand-up reach trucks, while adhering to all safety guidelines and operational procedures.

• Experience using RF (Radio Frequency) scanners for accurate material tracking, movement, and inventory management within the warehouse.

• Basic math skills and the ability to read, write, and comprehend English, ensuring accuracy in following instructions, completing documentation, and performing calculations.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license, meeting company and insurance requirements for any applicable job-related tasks.
