Here's the scoop - Summary

We are looking for a data-driven, detail-oriented Data Analyst, preferably within the pet food or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.

In this role, you will support end-to-end supply chain operations by providing actionable insights across multiple functions and serve as the centralized resource for supply chain data and KPI governance.

The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, cross-functional environment and is passionate about using data to enhance operational efficiency and support Champion Petfoods' commitment to delivering high-quality nutrition to pets worldwide.
The Supply Chain Analyst works out of our Corporate office in Edmonton (AB) or Nashville (TN) and works a hybrid schedule with 3 days in-person.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzedata acrosssupply chain to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvements

  • Identify supply chain performance gaps through data analysis, proactively engage with relevant stakeholders to understand root causes, and lead cross-functional efforts to develop and implement innovative solutions.

  • Develop and maintain real-time dashboards, data objects, andreports that track key supply chain metrics

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align analytics outputs with business needs

  • Communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels, enabling data-driven decision-making.

  • Assist in the deployment and continuous improvement of supply chain analytics tools and technologies

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

    • Experience in supply chain analytics or data analysis, preferably within the food or pet food industry.

    • Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python.

    • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

    • Experience with data visualization platforms(preferably Power BI).

    • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams.

    • Experience with advanced analytics techniques such as machine learning or predictive modelingpreferred.

    • Experience in Generative AI development preferred.

    • Familiarity with Databricks preferred.

    • Understanding of E2E supply chain processespreferred.
