Job description

About this role:

As an OB/GYN physician, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.

  • This OB/GYN will join Avenues Women's Center, serving patients in Salt Lake City & Bountiful. We are an established team of 8 OB/GYN physicians, 5 advanced practice providers, and an experienced collegial support staff of RNs, MAs, ultrasound techs and more.

  • 4 day work week, split between clinic & surgical responsibilities. Clinic time will primarily be at Avenues Clinic on campus of LDS Hospital. You'll also be at our Bountiful Clinic 2-4 days per month.

  • Unrestricted call anticipated to be 1:7.

  • All deliveries & surgeries at LDS Hospital.

  • LDS Hospital is home to a 12-bed labor & delivery unit, averaging just under 2,000 deliveries annually. Level II NICU and MFM clinic on site, we also have MFM & Neonatologist support available via telehealth 24/7. Obstetric Hospitalists and Anesthesiologist on site 24/7. Surgical Center includes access to Da Vinci Robotics. Our OB/GYN physicians often co-scrub & assist each other in OR.

You'll receive a $30,000starting bonus,up to $20,000in relocation assistance, up to $75,000in student loan repayment and if still in training, a monthly residency stipend.

What youll bring:

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine

  • Residency training OB/GYN

  • Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN

  • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one

  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Healths credentialing process

  • Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis
