This role operates in a remote setting while connecting with a dedicated team within the Detox Center. • Provide individual and group psychotherapy, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs of patients with mental health conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ emotional and psychological states, including factors that may influence their recovery.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and medical professionals, to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to patient care.
• Continuously monitor and assess patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary based on clinician input and patient feedback.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available resources in the community.
• Uphold the highest ethical standards in practice, emphasizing confidentiality, informed consent, and patient rights throughout all interactions.

The LCSW will serve a diverse population of individuals undergoing detoxification, focusing on those dealing with mental health issues intertwined with substance use disorders. Recognizing the complexities these patients face, the LCSW will address both mental health symptoms and the psychological aspects of recovery, striving for comprehensive treatment and enhanced patient outcomes.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing psychotherapy or mental health services.
• Strong clinical skills, particularly in developing treatment plans and conducting mental health assessments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, vital for building rapport with patients and working collaboratively with our healthcare team.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software for effective patient management.
• A solid understanding of mental health conditions, treatments, and the challenges faced by our clientele.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical professional standards.

• Experience working in detox or substance abuse settings.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Prior involvement in multidisciplinary team environments.
