Job description

) Job Description:
Attain Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor with a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential counseling services to individuals dealing with substance use disorders, helping them on their journey to recovery. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality care and support to our clients.
Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
  • Provide case management and coordinate with other healthcare professionals.
  • Educate clients and families about substance use disorders and recovery strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Licensure: Valid LCDC license in the state of Ohio. (Preferably with QMHS III)
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in substance use counseling or related field.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work within a team, and proficiency with electronic health records (EHR).
