Job description

We are seeking a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) to join our team. The LCAT will provide psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, families, and children. This position requires expertise in special education, diagnostic evaluation, research, and mental health counseling. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and possess knowledge of psychopharmacology.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions using creative arts therapies such as art, music, drama, or dance
- Provide counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, and families
- Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs
- Develop treatment plans based on clients' goals and needs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Conduct research related to creative arts therapies and contribute to the field's knowledge base
- Stay up-to-date with current therapeutic techniques and best practices
