LBX is looking to add a Senior Manager Innovation and Product Portfolio Strategies to the team!
The Senior Manager of Innovation and Product Portfolio Strategies is responsible for shaping and executing the company’s long term product and innovation vision. This role leads the development of strategic product portfolio plans that align with business goals, drives cross functional collaboration, and ensures innovation efforts meet the evolving needs of customers and the market.
Essential Functions:
40% - Define the vision on how Innovation Strategies will shape the company LTP. Direct the creation, management, and execution of well thought out and organized Product Portfolio and Innovation Strategies that help shape the company LTP as well as fulfill the needs of the company MTP. Develop and recommend Product Portfolio Strategies and establish overall product plans based on what we really need to support the company MTP and LTP goals.
Such plans should clearly identify the purpose, lean on 3C analysis, as well as recommend on how we will execute and meet our goals, i.e., in-house resource, collaboration with SCM, or partnership with 3rd party. Lead efforts to create Strategic Reviews, at least once a year, with LBX Senior Leadership Team and Board Members to ensure alignment on product related strategies with SCM Management.
30% - Lead by example and coach, mentor and raise the team’s abilities to deliver and exceed expectations while creating opportunities for succession talent.
30% - Provide leadership to ensure that cross-functional Platform is run efficiently and that product improvement, and innovation are planned and implemented in a way that is consistent with the needs of LBX customers and LBX strategy. Promote and foster open communication within the IPPS, cross-functionally within LBX, and with SCM Management.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business discipline, engineering, construction management, or equivalent related work experience. A master’s degree (MBA, Engineering or related field) is desired but not required.
- 5 years of management experience with a combination of Product Development, Marketing, or Innovation Technology within comparable industries.
- 10 years of experience in construction, forestry, agricultural, mining or other heavy mobile equipment or related industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Planner/Project.
- Strong communication skills including written, verbal and listening skills.

Travel Expectations:
- Extensive domestic and international travel required at times.
Working Conditions:
- This position requires spending time in a seated position while working at a computer station for extended periods of time.
