Lazy Bear is looking for a full-time service manager to maintain, and elevate our service and hospitality program. Experience in a fine-dining environment is a must, but an innate sense of warmth and hospitality is the biggest qualification.

We’re looking for professionals seeking to elevate their hospitality skills in a vibrant, fine-dining setting. We will deepen your connection to food and the essence of service, while letting you express your big personality and have the most fun you could possibly have in a Michelin-level job.

Job Description

Primary Duties: To lead the FOH service team, along with the operations team, with maintaining all Lazy
Bear standards. To further elevate the guest experience through service technique, hospitality standards, promoting Lazy Bear’s culture, and organizing and streamlining service related tasks. This includes working the floor during service and interfacing directly with guests.
To do this, the manager will work closely with the Chefs, Operations Team, and other Front of House management to oversee both day-to-day tasks and greater ambitions.

Job Duties
  • Create and iterate service standards to connect our products and personalities with our guests in consistent, luxurious, and accountable ways.
  • Inspire, guide, and organize our staff members using clear and constructive communication.
  • Organize and conduct FOH lineup to accommodate reviews of service, training, and accountability. Actively involve team members in the daily lineup.
  • Evaluate and instruct the staff in fine dining protocol and service standards, balanced against our singular style of dinner party hospitality.
  • Define and refine staff roles and responsibilities before, during, and after service.
  • Be a model and source of knowledge about cooking methods and ingredients.
  • Implement, document, and enforce standard operating procedures for guest-facing aspects of service, including wine service, sanitation, and regular maintenance.
  • Accurately document daily logs and reports, including maintenance of cash and oversight of credit card transactions across multiple payment platforms
  • Be a model and source of knowledge about cooking methods and ingredients.
  • Inspire, guide, and organize our staff members using clear and constructive communication.
