Job Description:

Join Hard Rock for an exciting internship experience where creativity meets real-world impact. This program offers the opportunity to build your portfolio, learn from experienced professionals, and gain exposure to projects across a global entertainment and hospitality brand. Working closely with our Design & Construction and Memorabilia teams, you'll contribute to meaningful initiatives while developing skills in graphic design, visual communications, environmental graphics, and experiential storytelling.

We are seeking a creative, organized, and motivated Design & Visual Communications Intern to support the Design & Construction and Memorabilia departments. The intern will assist with the development of visual materials that support hospitality, entertainment, and branded environment projects from concept through installation. This position offers valuable experience working with architectural renderings, environmental graphics, memorabilia storytelling, presentations, and production artwork in a fast-paced creative environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with design and visual communication processes, including but not limited to:

  • Create and update graphic layouts, presentations, and visual project materials
  • Assist with architectural renderings and conceptual design presentations
  • Support the development of storytelling graphics, memorabilia displays, and branded experiences
  • Create artworks, environmental graphics, signage, wall murals, and wayfinding elements
  • Edit, enhance, and retouch photography using Adobe Photoshop
  • Prepare production-ready artwork for print and large-format applications
  • Assist with typography, layout design, color studies, and visual branding initiatives
  • Organize and maintain digital project files, artwork libraries, and creative assets
  • Conduct image, artwork, and design research for upcoming projects
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, vendors, and consultants on active projects
  • Ensure all creative work aligns with Hard Rock brand standards

Requirements

  • Current junior and senior undergraduate students, as well as recent graduates (within one year of graduation), pursuing or holding a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign
  • Working knowledge of 3DS Max and AutoCAD
  • Understanding of typography, composition, layout, and color theory
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Portfolio showcasing creative and technical design abilities
  • Ability to work onsite in Davie, Fl.
