Job description

OB Hospitalist OpportunityPractice Information

Join as an employed OB Hospitalist in beautiful Prescott, Arizona. This flexible position offers 24-hour shifts with your choice of 6-8 shifts per month, allowing you to cluster shifts and travel in or out as desired. The most realistic scenario being 2 weeks per month and either 3 or 4 shifts each week.

218-bed community hospital featuring 16 LDRP rooms and approximately 1,200 deliveries annually. It includes a Level-2 NICU for 32 weeks and above.

During a typical 24-hour in-house shift, you can expect:

  • 3 to 4 deliveries
  • 7 to 8 OBED patients
  • Basic ultrasound reads (1st trimester and growth ultrasounds are a plus)
  • Post-partum rounding
  • Occasional GYN surgeries (1-2 per month)

Less than 5% of patients are unassigned. Robotic surgery is available, along with Cerner EMR. The facility is modern and beautiful, complete with brand new private physician sleeping quarters.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Shift Pay: $4,200 per 24-hour shift
  • Annual Earnings: $302,400 for 6 shifts/month; $403,200 for 8 shifts/month
  • Travel Stipend: $3,000 per month
  • Benefits: 401k with 6% match, employer-funded health plan + HSA, and malpractice coverage. Benefits begin after 1 month of employment.
