Service Manager / Lawn Care Technician

Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available

Lawn Doctor of Marietta is growing, and we are looking for dependable, motivated people to join our team.


We are currently hiring for a Service Manager / Lawn Care Technician position. This opportunity may be structured as full-time or part-time based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, availability, and ability to take on responsibilities.


Candidates with previous lawn care, landscaping, pest control, route-service, management, or customer-service experience are strongly encouraged to apply. However, lawn care experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to learn and grow.


What You’ll Do

Depending on your experience and position level, responsibilities may include:

  • Performing scheduled lawn-care services at residential and commercial properties
  • Applying fertilizers, weed-control products, and other lawn treatments
  • Inspecting lawns and identifying weeds, turf stress, disease, and other concerns
  • Communicating service findings and recommendations clearly to customers
  • Maintaining accurate service records
  • Safely operating and maintaining company vehicles and application equipment
  • Managing an assigned service route efficiently
  • Supporting and training other service technicians
  • Monitoring service quality, productivity, scheduling, and customer satisfaction
  • Assisting with day-to-day field operations as the company continues to grow

Experience in any of the following areas may qualify candidates for a higher starting rate:

  • Lawn care, landscaping, or turf management
  • Fertilizer and pesticide application
  • Pest-control or route-based service work
  • Customer service or sales
  • Employee training or field supervision
  • Scheduling, routing, or operations management
  • Relevant state licenses, certifications, or formal education


Compensation and Advancement

Our pay structure includes:

  • Training Pay / Part-Time Pay / Full-Time Pay
  • Experienced or Licensed Candidates: earns higher Compensation based on qualifications

Starting compensation will be determined by the candidate’s experience, education, licensing, certifications, and the responsibilities assigned to the position.
