Lawn Care Technician Seasonal

We are a small, local, family-owned Lawn Doctor location looking for the right person to join our crew for our active season (Early spring through late fall).
This is a seasonal position with strong opportunity to return each year and grow with us.
If you want a desk job where no one talks to you, this isn’t it.
If you like working outside, being trusted to run your own day, and being part of a tight-knit team that works hard and laughs a lot, keep reading.
Who You Are
You do not need experience.
You do need the right mindset.
You should:
  • Enjoy working outside (sun, light rain, bugs, dogs — the usual)
  • Be willing to learn lawn care and become a certified pesticide applicator (we train and support this)
  • Be a self-starter who can manage your day without constant supervision
  • Communicate professionally with customers and teammates
  • Have common sense and strong problem-solving ability
  • Be organized and take pride in your work
  • Be reliable and trustworthy
  • Have a safe, clean driving record (you will drive company vehicles daily)
  • Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to grow
You will spend most of your day working independently, so this role is best for someone who is self-motivated and dependable.
Our Core Values
We hire and grow our team around these values:
Integrity – Do the right thing, always
Dedication to Growth – Learn, improve, and get better every season
Extreme Ownership – Take responsibility and solve problems
Gratitude – Appreciate the opportunity and the team
Serve Others – Customers and teammates come first
Resourcefulness – Figure it out and keep moving
Our Culture
We are a close team. We work hard and support each other.
We keep things positive, professional, and team-focused.
We are looking for people who:
  • Work hard and take pride in what they do
  • Own mistakes and learn from them
  • Support their teammates
  • Bring a positive attitude to work
Everyone has tough days. We move forward together and keep the environment healthy and respectful.
What the Job Looks Like

  • Arrive at the shop to review route and prepare for the day
  • Drive company vehicle to scheduled properties
  • Apply lawn treatments safely and according to procedures
  • Communicate with customers and provide recommendations
  • Maintain vehicle, equipment, and product inventory
  • Complete service notes and paperwork
  • Work independently while staying connected with the team
What We Offer

  • Strong, supportive team environment
  • Thorough training and certification support
  • Performance bonuses and incentives
  • Team cookouts, events, and recognition
  • Leadership that supports your growth
  • Opportunities for returning seasons and advancement
  • Competitive pay
This is a seasonal, outdoor, independent role for someone dependable, positive, and driven.
If you take pride in your work, want to grow, and want to be part of a great team, we would love to meet you.
