We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team at Lavender Home Mental Health Care Center. In this full-time remote position, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality mental health services to individuals and families in need, focusing on fostering supportive relationships and guiding clients toward healthier lifestyles.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while working within a supportive network of mental health professionals. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnose various mental health disorders based on DSM-5 criteria.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each client's unique needs, goals, and circumstances.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.
  • Provide referrals to other specialists and resources as required, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.
  • Document treatment processes and client progress meticulously in compliance with confidentiality standards and clinic policies.
  • Maintain a continuous commitment to professional development by staying current with research and advancements in mental health practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients at Lavender Home consist of varied populations, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will work to create a therapeutic space for diverse groups, inclusive of various backgrounds and life experiences. Qualifications
  • A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A completed Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • Proven ability to apply evidence-based practices for mental health therapy, specializing in substance abuse and dual-diagnosis cases.
  • Exceptional therapeutic skills, combined with strong empathy and the capability to inspire and motivate clients towards recovery.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a community health clinic or a similar environment, providing mental health services to diverse demographic groups.
  • Specialized training or certification in addiction counseling or treating co-occurring disorders is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and maintaining electronic health records (EHR) efficiently.
Compensation and Benefits
