Job description

Wesley's Bradley Park in Puyallup seeks part-time (Saturday, Sunday & Monday) Housekeeping Aide at its South Hill location. The Day Shift, Housekeeping/Laundry Aide will perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Operations in accordance with Federal, State and Local standards, guidelines and regulations governing the facility to assure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner. This position will report to the Environmental Services Manager.
FUNCTIONS
1. Clean and maintain all public and residential living areas.
2. Assist in the refurbishing of empty units.
3. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
โ€ข Education Background
High School Diploma or GED.
โ€ข Licensure, Registration, Certification
No license, registration or certification required for this position
โ€ข Special Training/Skills
Must have knowledge of current housekeeping equipment, supplies, codes and regulations.
Knowledge of laundry operations desired.
Basic computer skills needed.
Reliability in attendance and punctuality.
Pleasant demeanor, including good communication skills. Cooperative attitude when working with staff and residents.
Maturity and sensitivity toward employees, residents, visitors and guests.
Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and efficiently.
Demonstrated ability to be patience, flexible and adaptable.
Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.

Must have housekeeping experience.
On-the-Job Training will be provided.

Ability to move around campus at a quick pace
Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
Using proper body mechanics, must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
