Job description

Position Description:
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, folding, sorting, and organizing hotel linens and towels so guest rooms and hotel departments have the clean supplies they need each day.
Key Responsibilities
  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, stack, and organize hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and related items.
  • Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and properly.
  • Inspect linens for stains, damage, or quality concerns.
  • Maintain clean and organized laundry work areas, carts, shelves, and storage spaces.
  • Deliver or restock clean linen as needed.
  • Report equipment issues, supply needs, safety concerns, or damaged linen to a supervisor.
  • Follow chemical handling, machine safety, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Assist with linen inventory, par levels, and housekeeping support when needed.

Requirements
  • Prior laundry, housekeeping, cleaning, or hotel experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically active environment.

  • Ability to follow instructions and safely use laundry equipment and chemicals.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Flexible schedule required, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
