We are looking for a passionate and driven Seasonal Laundry Delivery Driver/Attendant to join our team and significantly contribute to reopen our newly remodeled resort in the American Riviera, Santa Barbara!
What you will do:
Performs daily linen deliveries and pickups using a 10-foot delivery truck, ensuring safe and timely service across multiple client locations in the Santa Barbara area. Skilled in loading and unloading linen bins efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols and operational standards. When not making deliveries assist with laundry production. 40% delivery and 60% assisting in Laundry duties.
Some of the key functions of this role are:
• Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures. Report immediately any fines received
• Must keep driving record clean and report any changes immediately
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment such as gas, oil, water, tires. Lights or brakes to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition and clean it when is necessary.
• Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles
• Excellent communication with customers
• Present delivery forms
• Load and unload trucks
• Verify the contents of inventory loads against manifest
• Report delays, accidents or other traffic and transportation to manager using telephones when not driving
• Maintain updated registration and insurance in vehicle
• Fill up Vehicle with Diesel every time reaching ¼ of the fuel tank.
• Assisting on drive the Vehicle to maintenance service when required
• Assist with laundry operations when not making deliveries. Expect to work shift splitting 40% Driving and 60% on laundry activities
• Follow the delivery and pick up schedule and modified when requested by supervisor/manager according with business requirements
• Any other function required by hotel and laundry leadership team
What you bring:
We are looking for individuals who have:
• Minimum 5 years driving experience & knowledge of commercial laundry is strongly preferred
• Excellent driving record
• Valid driver's license
• Vast knowledge of the Santa Barbara area and road network
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to read and write in English. Ability to speak Spanish preferred.
• Ability to grasp, bend, and stoop; push or pull heavy loads weighing up to 50 lbs. Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time up to 8 hours a day.
• Applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States.

• Effective interpersonal skills and a great team player.
Schedule & Hours: This role requires availability on Saturdays and Sundays, with flexibility on shift times.
