What you’ll do
  • Set up press and lathe equipment: clean, calibrate, and prepare for production cycles
  • Control and adjust machine parameters (including speed) to hit spec
  • Feed raw material/parts into semi-automated machines
  • Use precision and measuring tools to verify part conformity
  • Conduct periodic machine operation tests
  • Diagnose and correct issues that arise mid-shift
  • Identify machine-related defects in output
  • Document counts of approved and defective units/final products
