Job description

Set-up, program (as required), and operate laser cutting machines or complex CNC work centers. This position will also have forklift duties and will move material in the Stopa tower when needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Set-up, operate and make necessary program modifications on CNC laser cutting machines and complex CNC equipment.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments to check tolerances and assure quality parts.
  • Perform authorized routine maintenance of assigned machines.
  • Understand and properly interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
  • Uses data collection terminal to correctly report time, shop order data and material logoffs.
  • Follow all safety rules and wear required personal protective equipment.
  • Capable of working with minimum supervision.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
