Position Summary

The Attractions Lead serves as Henderson Sport & Social's subject matter expert for laser tag and attractions operations. This position is responsible for delivering safe, exciting, and memorable laser tag experiences while leading training, equipment readiness, game quality, and operational excellence within the laser tag arena and all other attractions areas.
The Attractions Lead trains new Attractions Attendants on laser tag operations, maintains advanced knowledge of Delta Strike equipment and game formats, performs basic equipment repairs, and continuously seeks opportunities to improve safety, guest engagement, and the overall laser tag experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead laser tag and attractions operations while creating an engaging and memorable guest experience.
  • Conduct safety briefings, explain game formats, power-ups, scoring, and arena rules after each game.
  • Monitor games and immediately stop play or remove participants when unsafe behavior occurs, communicating incidents to management as appropriate.
  • Train and coach Attractions Attendants in laser tag operations, guest engagement, and safety procedures.
  • Perform daily inspections of vests, phasers, targets, arena features, scoreboards, radios, and other laser tag equipment.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs of Delta Strike equipment and coordinate larger repairs with Facilities Maintenance when necessary.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of interactive arena features, power-ups, energy gates, and game settings.
  • Develop new game formats and recommend operational improvements to enhance the guest experience.
  • Celebrate birthdays, encourage players of all ages, explain scoreboards after games, and maintain high energy throughout every experience.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready laser tag arena while completing opening, closing, cleaning, and operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain within company-established timelines.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and guest service skills.
  • Comfortable speaking to individuals and groups while leading attraction experiences.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous laser tag, family entertainment, recreation, or hospitality experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn basic equipment repair.
  • Passion for coaching, safety, and creating memorable guest experiences.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, push, pull, and move quickly throughout the arena.
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-energy entertainment environment.
