WonderWorks is an indoor amusement park that combines education and entertainment with more than 100 hands-on exhibits that challenge the mind and spark the imagination.
WonderWorks (Location) is looking for Laser Tag Attendants to join our team! Our Laser Tag Attendants create WONDERful experiences for our guests by hosting thrilling laser tag battles, taking orders at the register in our Cafe, prepare and fulfill orders for guests in a friendly and efficient manner, assisting with arcade gameplay, and awarding arcade prizes to winners!
Responsibilities:
• Greet and interact positively with all guests that enter the laser tag & café area
• Act as a guide to the Laser Tag facility by explaining how the games work and the safety rules, demonstrating the function of the Laser Tag vest and gun, and preparing the guests for playtime
• Courteously respond to guest inquiries and comments by providing timely and accurate information about Laser Tag, arcade games, and other basement amenities
• Assist guests with arcade games
• Maintain the arcade prize counter for ticket redemption, ensuring redemption items remain stocked and organized
• Take and prepare orders for guests in a high-volume environment
• Operate point-of-sale system to process guest orders
• Stock food and beverages according to FIFO methods and health code
• Ensure all tables and seating areas are clean and the condiment area is stocked
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
• Ability to anticipate guest needs
• Ability to work any shift including nights, weekends, holidays, and weather conditions
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous themed entertainment experience is preferred
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for prolonged periods
