We are seeking an experienced Yield & Quality Engineer with a strong technical background in ultra‑high‑power (UHP) semiconductor laser chip fabrication or closely related photonics/compound‑semiconductor technology. This role will focus on improving manufacturing yield, driving process and improvements and device performance, and leading the investigation and resolution of complex quality and reliability issues. The ideal candidate combines a strong understanding of semiconductor laser device physics, wafer/chip fabrication processes, statistical data analysis, and structured problem solving, and can effectively work across R&D, process engineering, manufacturing, reliability, and quality teams.
Key Responsibilities:Candidates should have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a closely related technical discipline, with one of the following combinations:
Relevant experience should preferably include semiconductor lasers, photonics, optoelectronics, compound‑semiconductor fabrication, or other semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Preferred QualificationsThe salary range for this position is $89,650 – $166,000USD. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.
