Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Tube Laser Operator to join our manufacturing and fabrication team. In this role, you will operate tube laser and CNC laser equipment to produce high-quality precision-cut metal components while maintaining production schedules, quality standards, and safe operating procedures.


The ideal candidate has experience in tube laser operation, CNC laser cutting, machine operation, or metal fabrication, along with strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. Previous experience with laser cutting equipment is preferred but not required.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Operate tube laser and CNC laser machines to perform precision cutting on metal materials and components 
  • Select and run appropriate laser cutting programs based on job specifications and material types 
  • Set up, calibrate, and monitor laser equipment to ensure optimal machine performance and production efficiency 
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, diagrams, and bills of materials 
  • Inspect finished parts to verify dimensions, tolerances, and overall product quality 
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished parts for production processing 
  • Organize materials and components for the next stage of manufacturing or assembly 
  • Perform routine maintenance, machine cleaning, and equipment inspections
  • Maintain accurate production documentation, work orders, and manufacturing records 
  • Meet daily production goals while maintaining high-quality standards 
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while following written and verbal instructions 
  • Safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs as required 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment 
  • Support additional manufacturing and production tasks as needed 
  • Perform all other duties as assigned 

Requirements:

  • Experience operating tube lasers, CNC laser machines, or manufacturing equipment preferred 
  • Experience in metal fabrication, CNC operation, or machine operation is a plus 
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings 
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude 
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment 
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

Physical Demands:

  • Lift, carry, push, and/or pull 1-50 lbs. frequently
  • Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently
  • Sit, stand, and walk for 1-10 hours per day
  • Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, eye protection, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing
