Job Description

Manages various corporate tax matters for the organization.

  • Oversees the development of tax minimization strategies for the company.
  • Ensures federal and state tax filings are completed accurately and timely.
  • Some travel between buildings and out of town is required.
Qualifications
  • Professional-level experience gained through a public accounting firm.
  • Five years of supervisory experience or five years of equivalent military experience in grade E5 or above.
  • Previous experience in insurance and taxes with tax matters specifically related to insurance entities.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure.
  • Excellent organizational, presentation, decision-making and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of complex mathematical calculations and statistical concepts.
  • Knowledge of corporate income tax planning, research and compliance.
